A super site, quiet well shaded, good size pitches. Within walking distance of a small town with all facilities. Large modern swimming pool. Small children's play area. Fishing lake on site. Good facilities for washing and dish washing. Washing machine. Good toilets and showers and Elsan emptying points.
The owners are a young French couple who have taken over in 2003. They speak English. Many improvements being made. A "beer and frites" bar was being built in June while I was there for 3 weeks. In that time there were never more than 5 'vans present! But it will be busy in August.
There are 40 mobile homes on one half of the site, the rest is for touring 'vans
and tents. It was so calm when we were there that I could watch a buzzard chick being
raised in a nest -
There are some good restaurants nearby and several villages have small markets on different days, all within 10 miles. A long distance footpath runs nearby.
The best beach is about 5 miles away "Les Conches", it is superb! There are several more acceptable beaches within 10 miles. We prefer to be away from camping sites right on the coast.
